Saira Ahmed, DMD
Dr. Saira grew up in the Chicago suburbs and South Florida. Upon graduating high school, Dr. Saira stayed in Florida and attended the University of Miami and double-majored in biochemistry and history. She is a self-proclaimed history buff and orange juice snob. Dr. Saira attended dental school at the University of Louisville where she earned her DMD and Masters’ degree in oral biology. Prior to dental school Dr. Saira worked as a dental assistant in both general dentistry and periodontics. Dr. Saira’s favorite aspect of working in dentistry is spending time with patients to get to know them and their concerns about their oral health.
Following graduation in 2019, Dr. Saira moved back to the Chicago suburbs to be closer to her family. There she worked as a general dentist in her hometown of Naperville. In the summer of July 2021, Dr. Saira relocated to the beautiful pacific northwest to be closer to her husband. In her free time, Dr. Saira enjoys exploring her new home, cooking, gardening, and reading. Dr. Saira is thrilled by the opportunity to serve the Bellingham community.
Belinda, BSDH
Hygienist
Belinda has always been drawn to healthcare. Interested in patient education, she loves showing our patients how to best take care of their oral health. Believing that it is one of the most important things a person can wear, it’s her goal to help every person she sees achieve a beautiful smile.
Belinda has a lot of experience in the field, graduating with an AAS in Dental Hygiene from Vermont Technical College and a BS in Dental Hygiene from Eastern Washington University. She has worked as a hygienist for eight years. Belle is dedicated to the health and well-being of her patients and is continually seeking new information through continuing education and is a member of the American Dental Hygienists Association.
Outside of the office, Belinda enjoys being active outdoors, hiking, kayaking, skiing, and snowboarding with her husband John. When they need a break from the adventure lifestyle, an evening at home with their cat, Waldo, will do just as well.
Anya, RDH
Hygienist
Anya graduated the dental hygiene program at Bellingham Technical College in 2018 and has been practicing dental hygiene ever since. She enjoys every minute of it, even if there’s the occasional (and hopefully accidental) finger bite. She loves taking a holistic approach to oral health care, and teaming up with each patient to improve their overall well-being.
Anya is a bit of a nerd when it comes to learning about new research and best practices in healthcare, but her favorite thing is spending time with her amazing daughter, Gabby. Anya loves to be active, explore the outdoors and new foods, being with friends, or quiet time with a good book or writing.
